Time to Change - Wednesday 5th July After 12 months of rock n roll DIRT and Marv have sadly parted company, we would like to wish Marv all the best for the future and thank him for all his input into the band over the last 12 months. So the search is on for a new front man, in the interim our good friend Dave Goodall has stepped in on vocals for the Party in the Park gig on the 15 th July on very short notice. We have little over a week to get Dave up to speed with the set, but after last nights rehearsal we are quite confident we can do it. Dave has never performed live before and so I think it’s fair to say he’s sh***ing himself. We will give him all the support he needs obviously!! Hehe (Be afraid!! Very afraid!! All those people will be looking at you Dave!!) and other words of encouragement. |
DIRT will be supporting the legendary Dogs D'Amour at the Limelight club in Crewe on Tuesday 30th May If you've never heard the Dogs D'Amour your seriously missing out on some class A rock n roll. The Dogs were formed by front man Tyla in the early 80's and they achieved great success with their debut album 'The Dynamite Jet Saloon', DIRT are very excited to be supporting the Dogs as Stevo and Carson have been big fans for many years and now we get to sink a glass of wine with Tyla. It just don't get any better!!!!

DIRT will be supporting the LA GUNS on Saturday 15th October - Sugarmill Hanley We have just had confirmation that we will be opening for the LA GUNS on saturday 15th oct in the SugarMill Hanley. And I don't mind telling you were kinda exited about it!!!!!! The LA GUNS got their start on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip more than 15 years ago, but for all intents and purposes, L.A. Guns have been born again. Sure, they haven't stopped touring the world since the release of their self-titled debut in 1988, but for seven of those years they did so without original frontman Phil Lewis. However, since the release of Man In The Moon in 2001, which marked the reunion of Lewis with founding guitarist Tracii Guns and drummer Steve Riley, there's been a new fire burning in the L.A. Guns camp. Their new release, Waking The Dead, significantly furthers the band's classic rock and blues vibe by propelling them into a heavier, more musically challenging realm. One that has ultimately proven more satisfying to the band themselves.
